In the past, ore from the Summit and Fountain Head Mines was trucked to Bonanza’s Golden Gem Millsite for treatment.

If the Company decides to rebuild the Golden Gem Mill, it will be necessary to develop a sufficient tonnage of mineralized rock to fill up the mill so it can operate at a profit. Fountain Head is Bonanza Goldfields’ eighth mine situated within a short haul from the Golden Gem Millsite. Last week, Bonanza Goldfields announced that it increased the size of its Cupid Gold Project to 1,064 acres from 217 acres. The Cupid Gold Project now encompasses substantially all of the area of outcropping alteration/mineralization previously included in the Kinross CPD property. The gold deposits at Goldfield are associated with alunite, which is also plentiful along the eastern portion of the Cupid Gold property.

For 2020, BTU Metals’ focus is the polymetallic TNT target, discovered in drill holes 12 and 13 of the present drill program at Dixie Halo. Geophysics, including ground IP (Induced Polarization) and resistivity, and also airborne VTEM (Versatile Time Domain Electromagnetic) and an SGH survey are being used to determine the footprint of the target and to define additional drill targets. Expert assessment of currently available geophysical survey data has found that this target has a footprint of 200-500 meters east-west and at least 1,000 meters north-south.

Earlier this month, BTU Metals announced it started its 2020 drill program on the TNT target. In addition, the Company has accelerated the acquisition of the Dixie Halo South-East extension property, announced October 28, 2019. BTU restarted drilling operations on the TNT target area. Drill core assay results are soon expected for Drill holes 19 and 20 with holes 21-24 afterward. Additional geophysical surveys are taking place to further define the dimensions of the TNT target.

The South-East Extension claims encompass the open extension of the TNT target to the South. BTU has applied for work permits on these claims. This will allow the Company to carry out geophysical surveys and drill the resultant targets. The expectation is that permits will be received later this month or early February.

Nippon Dragon Resources has a strategic partnership agreement with Val d’Or Resources (VOR). Through the creation of a new entity, Rocmec Gold, Inc., the new partnership is anticipated to substantially expand Nippon Dragon’s reach within Canada and other important markets.

In addition, Nippon has its Courville-Maruska exploration property in Courville Township, roughly 32 kilometers’ northeast of Val-d'Or, Quebec. The property consists of 20 mining claims covering an area of around 800 hectares. The property is on a gold-bearing quartz vein system.

Hemp Biomass and Tolling Contracts

HTC has entered into a hemp biomass tolling agreement for the 2019 crop year involving a supply of hemp biomass from a hemp grower in Saskatchewan, Canada. The hemp grower utilizes five varieties of Health Canada-approved cultivars as the genetic foundation. HTC will process and extract CBD FSO distillate from the hemp biomass. As a tolling fee payment, HTC will receive a percentage of the extracted CBD FSO distillate for its processing, extraction, purification and distillation services.

Additional hemp biomass tolling contracts with producers and hemp biomass providers are being negotiated in the U.S. for the 2020 hemp crop growing year. HTC will provide “local-to-grower” drying-to-biomass storage capability and transportation of dried biomass to an HTC, location to be determined, future US based, extraction facility. HTC is also in negotiation with a 60,000-acre, recognized Canadian farm leader, who is a significant hemp biomass producer, for a similar hemp biomass tolling contract.

re3™ Technology

Large users of ethanol and solvents for plant oil extraction demand reduced capital and operating costs. HTC’s re3™ (reclaim, recycle, reuse) technology can save up to 30% of the required fluid costs. Canada is quickly becoming a hub for cannabis investors with over $1.3 billion raised by Canadian companies to date. There are 58 licensed producers to service a population of 36 million and only two organic producers. TGOD also plans to gain a share of the burgeoning cannabis oils market which by Q1 2017 accounted for 49 percent of all cannabis sold in Canada under the ACMPR, up from only 27% in Q2 2016. TGOD has ordered a purpose-built extraction laboratory with an estimated commission in Q4 of 2017. This is a commercial-scale CO2 extraction unit capable of processing up to 12,000 kg of raw material per year and producing approximately $170 million worth of organic cannabis oils. Raw cannabis oil provides a significant downstream manufacturing opportunity into several potential recreational market verticals including edibles, beverages, topicals and concentrates.

Data from the Canadian ACMPR Market Trends report indicates a rising number of consumers will continue to seek out healthier, less conspicuous ways to consume cannabis, ensuring sales of organic cannabis oil products remain brisk. Organic cannabis products demand a significant premium compared to non-organic products and the demand keeps growing.

Plans to take the company public are underway with an initial public offering (IPO) slated for January 2018. In November, the company raised $13 million in equity financing and in March closed a $27 million non-brokered private placement. Another $20 million is currently being raised before the IPO in January, which will be utilized for expansion plans.

In research presented at the 2017 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Cancer Research in Washington, D.C., Genprex’s collaborators showed that TUSC2 in combination with PD-1 checkpoint inhibition has a significantly greater anti-tumor effect in lung cancer than either agent alone. The research also shows that TUSC2 in combination with PD-1 blockade has synergistic activity in upregulating natural killer (NK) cells, correlating with prolonged survival in mice.

TUSC2 (Tumor Suppressor Candidate 2) is a tumor suppressor gene that is absent or deficient in cancer cells of many different cancer types.

The Market

Genprex technologies seek to bridge a critical gap by combining with targeted therapies and immunotherapies to provide treatments to large patient populations who would otherwise not be candidates for those therapies or who have become resistant to them.
