GEMXX Corp. (GEMZ)

SmallCapRelations, SeriousTraders, QualityStocks, MissionIR, InvestorBrandNetwork, MiningNewsWire, Tiny Gems, Stocks to Buy Now, Tip.us, StocksToBuyNow, TinyGems, SmallCapSociety, Rocks & Stocks, NetworkNewsWire and rocksandstocks reported earlier on GEMXX Corp. (GEMZ), and today we highlight the Company, here at the QualityStocks Daily Newsletter.

Mergers and acquisitions in the American upstream oil and gas sector slowed in Q2 as volatility across the equity and energy markets continues to rattle investors. The downturn in M&A activity follows a string of high-profile buyouts by major oil and gas companies in recent years, wrapping up with $192 billion in deals completed in 2023.

Enverus Intelligence Research reports that the quarter ending June 30 recorded transactions totaling $13.5 billion, signifying a 21% decline quarter-on-quarter. Altogether, the first six months of this year saw $30.5 billion change ownership, marking a steep 60% plunge from the same period in 2024.

EOG Resources, an exploration and production firm based in Houston, acquired oil and gas company Encino Acquisition Partners from Encino Energy and CPP Investments in May for $5.6 billion. The firm’s CEO, Ezra Y. Yacob, stated that this acquisition combined premier acreage positions in the Utica and would help create a foundational play for the firm alongside its Eagle Ford and Delaware Basin assets.

The following month, Viper Energy bought Sitio Royalties for $4.1 billion. With this transaction, this subsidiary of Diamondback Energy Inc. positions itself to compete for capital with mid and large cap North American E&Ps.

According to Enverus, these two transactions made up over 75% of deals closed in Q2. The firm’s principal analyst, Andrew Dittmar, explains how volatility may have dampened deal activity in the sector.

Earlier in April, President Donald Trump rolled out ‘reciprocal’ trade tariffs which imposed a 10% baseline tax on imports from all countries. Oil prices sank to multi-year lows after the announcement, sparking recession fears and concerns over shrinking fuel consumption.

Soon after this, OPEC announced its plans to scale back major production cuts, which helped prices rebound as renewed tensions in the Middle East continued to drive up traders’ risk premium.

Data from LSEG shows that at the start of May, U.S. crude futures in Q2 hit $57.13 a barrel then shot up to $75.14 a barrel mid-June.

Dittmar notes that the wave of mergers and acquisitions that propelled the sector in recent years has lost momentum, since so few viable targets are left. He adds that firms may eventually be compelled to look abroad for asset acquisitions, be it in Canada or in areas like the Vaca Muerta in Argentina. The Vaca Muerta is the second largest shale gas resource globally as well as the fourth-largest shale oil resource in the world.

Concerns about volatility could also be impacting exploration activities around the world, and entities like GEMXX Corp. (OTC: GEMZ) conducting their exploration operations in Latin America could be experiencing their own share of headaches over the shifting trade policies of the U.S.

GEMXX Corp. (GEMZ), closed Tuesday's trading session at $0.015, even for the day. The average volume for the last 3 months is 95,860 and the stock's 52-week low/high is $0.0001/$0.027.

Tariff changes and economic uncertainty are shaking up the way ecommerce apps spend their marketing money across the world. A new report from AppsFlyer, the 2025 State of eCommerce App Marketing, shows that global spending on user acquisition (UA) has climbed to an impressive $4.6 billion. But it’s not just the amount of money being spent that is interesting, it’s where that money is going.

Chinese ecommerce apps, which have long poured large budgets into the United States, are now turning their attention to Europe. Concerns about tariffs and shifting regulations are pushing companies to rethink their strategies and move their marketing budgets to markets like Germany and France. This change is already visible in the numbers: iOS user acquisition in Germany rose by 170 percent from January to May 2025, while France saw its iOS UA more than double. Meanwhile, the U.S. market felt the pullback, with iOS UA dropping by 38 percent last November.

The report also highlights that loyalty and remarketing are taking center stage. Instead of only focusing on getting new users, brands are spending big to keep the ones they already have. In fact, remarketing spending in 2024 hit $16.4 billion, more than three times what was spent on UA. This approach is paying off because iOS users, in particular, are showing stronger loyalty. They make 39 percent more first-time purchases and are 68 percent more likely to buy again compared to Android users.

Another key trend is that iOS continues to lead when it comes to monetization and user retention, even in countries that are traditionally dominated by Android devices, like India and Brazil. For example, in India, iOS in-app purchase revenue grew by 44 percent in late 2024, and Brazil saw iOS UA skyrocket by 481 percent in November.

At the same time, there’s been a clear rise in web-to-app strategies, where users are guided from websites into mobile apps. These web-to-app flows grew by nearly 40 percent before the holiday shopping season and continued to rise through spring 2025.

AppsFlyer’s data, drawn from 1,600 ecommerce apps and covering billions of installs and conversions, suggests one thing clearly: marketers need to stay flexible. With tariffs, regulations, and global politics in flux, companies can no longer afford to stick to a single plan. Instead, they must adapt in real time, focus on building user loyalty, and balance their investments across multiple regions and platforms to keep growing in a changing world.

Ecommerce giants like Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. (NYSE: BABA) could be close tracking global shifts in ecommerce trends and tweaking their strategies accordingly in order to grow their market share.

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. (BABA), closed Tuesday's trading session at $119.36, off by 2.2841%, on 13,599,708 volume. The average volume for the last 3 months is 12,351,720 and the stock's 52-week low/high is $73.2868/$147.2581.

Bit Digital Inc. (BTBT)

CryptoCurrencyWire, QualityStocks, CurrencyNewsWire, StocksEarning, MarketClub Analysis, Schaeffer's, StockEarnings, Premium Stock Alerts, TradersPro, MarketBeat, InvestorPlace, InsiderTrades, Zacks, 360 Wall Street, InvestorsUnderground, Early Bird, Daily Trade Alert, Premium Stock Picks, Wealth Daily, Chaikin PowerFeed and Market Munchies reported earlier on Bit Digital Inc. (BTBT), and today we highlight the Company, here at the QualityStocks Daily Newsletter.

As digital currencies become more connected with mainstream finance, major players in the industry are racing to digitize real-world assets. This process, known as tokenization, involves converting assets like real estate, art, or company shares into digital tokens using blockchain technology.

One reason interest in tokenization is growing so fast is the rise of stablecoins. According to crypto investor Katie Haun, stablecoins have laid the groundwork for a broader shift to tokenizing other types of assets. She compared the potential of tokenization to the way streaming changed how people consume TV and movies.

Recently, trading firm Robinhood launched tokenized stock trading in Europe. It also handed out tokens tied to shares of high-profile private firms like SpaceX and OpenAI.

Meanwhile, Coinbase is pushing for broader access to tokenized securities in the U.S., while Kraken also introduced tokenized stock trading for international users. Investment giants Franklin Templeton and BlackRock have also entered the space with tokenized versions of money market funds.

According to McKinsey, tokenized assets could reach a market size of $2 trillion by the end of the decade.

This momentum comes at a time when digital assets are seeing widespread interest. Bitcoin, the largest crypto, continues to hit record highs, surpassing $123,000 recently. Meanwhile, the Trump administration has signaled strong support for what it calls a “golden era” for crypto.

Still, legal questions remain. Securities law is notoriously complicated, and even agreeing on what qualifies as a security can be a challenge, especially in the crypto world. For instance, Binance stopped offering tokenized stocks in 2021 after concerns were raised by German regulators.

Under the Trump administration, the SEC has taken a less aggressive stance compared to past leadership, dropping or pausing some lawsuits against crypto firms. Yet, the agency has urged caution on matters of tokenization. After Robinhood’s token offering, SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce reminded companies that issuing tokenized stocks may still come with legal responsibilities around financial disclosures.

One of the more controversial aspects of tokenization involves private companies, which aren’t held to the same public reporting standards as companies listed on stock exchanges. Many startups now prefer staying private, raising money from institutional and wealthy investors instead of going public.

Tokenization advocates say this locks out everyday investors from opportunities to benefit from early-stage growth.“These deals often generate huge profits, but only for a select few with insider access,” said Johann Kerbrat from Robinhood. “Crypto offers a way to fix that imbalance.”

Critics, however, warn that without proper oversight, we could return to an era similar to the 1920s, before the SEC existed, when unregulated investment schemes cost people their savings.

As discussions around tokenization continue, entities like Bit Digital Inc. (NASDAQ: BTBT) will be following and assessing the opportunities that could be leveraged over the coming years.

Bit Digital Inc. (BTBT), closed Tuesday's trading session at $2.93, off by 2.3333%, on 38,979,609 volume. The average volume for the last 3 months is 212,143,639 and the stock's 52-week low/high is $1.69/$5.74.

For years, oncologists have been baffled by why checkpoint inhibitors work for some cancer patients and not others. This challenge has made it difficult for these immunotherapies to be widely used since it isn't easy to predict who will benefit and yet the treatments are currently very expensive. Now a new study whose findings appeared in the journal Nature has found that autoantibodies, the proteins known to drive autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, could be the missing link that helps checkpoint inhibitors to be more effective against different kinds of cancer and other diseases. Doctor Ring says the data they collected on the beneficial and the harmful autoantibodies could open a door for scientists to improve immunotherapy by either boosting the helpful autoantibodies or blocking the harmful ones. The research team is now expanding their inquiry to cover more cancers with a view to finding ways to make immunotherapy help more patients. Their promising work could make it possible for parallel teams like those at Calidi Biotherapeutics Inc. (NYSE American: CLDI) to see their immunotherapies under development packing a bigger punch against different kinds of cancer.

Calidi Biotherapeutics Inc. (NYSE American: CLDI) is a clinical-stage immuno-oncology company pioneering proprietary technology that empowers the immune system to combat cancer. PowerBank Corporation (Cboe CA: SUNN) (FSE: GY2) (NASDAQ: SUUN)

The QualityStocks Daily Newsletter would like to spotlight PowerBank Corporation (Cboe CA: SUNN) (FSE: GY2) (NASDAQ: SUUN).

Japan will leverage flexible and ultra-lightweight solar panels to accelerate its transition to green energy, strengthen its competitiveness in the technology sector, and achieve carbon neutrality by the year 2050. Japan's decision to invest in ultra-thin, flexible, and lightweight solar panels is based on practicality: they can be installed on irregular or curved surfaces, making them ideal for the country's mountainous terrain. These flexible solar panels are made from a lightweight material called perovskite that makes them more adaptable than traditional silicon solar panels, which are most effective on flat surfaces. Additionally, Japan will also take advantage of a local resource, iodine, in the manufacture of these flexible solar panels. As Japan is the second-largest iodine producer in the world, it will be in control of a key component of its domestic solar panel supply chain. Japan will have to invest in storage capacity to supplement its perovskite solar cell ambitions. The country plans on installing enough perovskite solar cells to produce 20 gigawatts of electricity by 2040, the equivalent of 20 nuclear reactors, as part of a long-term strategy to eventually draw 50% of its electricity from renewables. Nicola Mining Inc. (TSX.V: NIM) (OTCQB: HUSIF)

The QualityStocks Daily Newsletter would like to spotlight Nicola Mining Inc. (TSX.V: NIM) (OTCQB: HUSIF).

The Dominion Creek property lies within a highly prospective ground underlain by the Isaac Lake Fault system.

Nicola marked a major milestone at Dominion by obtaining the final bulk sample permit from BC authorities, allowing extraction of up to 10,000 tonnes of ore.

Resource potential at Dominion Creek is supported by historic high-grade production.

Nicola Mining (TSX.V: NIM) (OTCQB: HUSIF) is steadily advancing its Dominion Creek project in British Columbia's gold-rich region, integrating gold and silver exploration with nearby milling infrastructure to deliver both resource growth and early-stage production outcomes. The company's focus on strategic permits, strong assay results and a vertically integrated model underscores its vision of becoming a reliable, cash-flow generating junior miner.

Nicola Mining Inc. (TSX.V: NIM) (OTCQB: HUSIF) is a junior resource company focused on monetizing high-grade mineral assets in British Columbia. With a unique dual-pronged model, the company combines solid operational revenues from its wholly-owned, state-of-the-art gold and silver mill with the long-term upside of 100%-owned copper, silver, and gold exploration projects. This approach allows Nicola to fund ongoing development while minimizing equity dilution.

The company’s strategy centers on aligning infrastructure and permitting advantages with mineral-rich geology, positioning it to process its own, as well as third-party high-grade gold and silver mines via partnerships, to advance its own exploration targets. Key agreements with gold producers and concentrating sales contracts provide stable cash flow, making Nicola rare among juniors in its ability to internally support growth. Its solid balance sheet and business acumen have allowed it to take stakes in other near-term gold producers, including a 75% economic stake in Dominion Gold, which commences a bulk sample in 2H 2025.

Nicola is leveraging its platform of permitted infrastructure, strategic project locations, and deep technical expertise to build shareholder value in a low-risk, high-reward framework. The company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Projects

Nicola Mining’s project portfolio includes high-grade copper, silver, and gold assets located in mineral-rich regions of British Columbia. Each project is 100%-owned or majority-controlled, with strong exploration potential and the necessary permits to advance development.

New Craigmont Copper Project

Nicola’s flagship asset, the New Craigmont Project, is a historic producer of over 900 million pounds of copper. Since acquiring 100% ownership in 2015, the company has drilled over 18,000 meters and identified significant skarn-hosted and porphyry-style mineralization. Recent drilling in 2024 confirmed 52.9 meters at 1.03% Cu (Hole NC-24-002), supporting the presence of a large-scale copper system. The project benefits from paved road access, connection to BC Hydro’s grid, and proximity to urban centers.

Treasure Mountain Silver Project

This 100%-owned past-producing mine has a Major Mines permit (M-239) and an NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate. The site includes multiple silver-lead-zinc veins and is permitted to extract up to 60,000 tonnes annually. Nicola is evaluating potential reactivation or joint venture options. Resource estimates include indicated resources of 52,000 tonnes grading 18.1 oz/t Ag, 3.26% Pb, and 3.4% Zn, and inferred resources of 161,000 tonnes grading 22.0 oz/t Ag, 2.48% Pb, and 3.86% Zn.

Dominion Creek Project (Au-Ag)

Nicola holds a 50% land ownership and 75% economic stake in this gold-silver project. Located 43 km from Wells, British Columbia, the site has returned grab samples averaging 61.3 g/t Au and 173.7 g/t Ag. The company has received its final permit and plans to extract a 10,000-tonne bulk sample in 2025, which will be processed at its Merritt Mill facility.

Operations

In addition to its exploration assets, Nicola Mining operates a suite of permitted industrial facilities in British Columbia that generate revenue and support the company’s broader development strategy. These assets form the backbone of Nicola’s self-sustaining business model.

Merritt Mill & Tailings Facility

Nicola owns and operates British Columbia’s only provincially permitted toll mill for gold and silver, a $30 million flotation facility located near Merritt. Gold production began in 2023. The facility is supported by long-term Milling and Profit Share Agreements with companies including Osisko Development Corporation, Blue Lagoon Resources, and Talisker Resources.

Sand & Gravel Pit / Rock Quarry / Ready-Mix Concrete Plant

Nicola also operates a permitted gravel pit (100,000 t/year), rock quarry (1,500 t/day), and is set to launch a ready-mix cement plant in Q2 2025. These operations, run in partnership with local First Nations, generate stable cash flow to support exploration efforts.

Market Opportunity

Nicola Mining is uniquely positioned in southern British Columbia, a jurisdiction recognized for its mining-friendly policies, skilled labor force, and robust infrastructure. The New Craigmont Project is geologically situated within the Guichon Creek Batholith, a region hosting some of Canada’s largest copper mines, including Highland Valley. Exploration data from 2023 and 2024 support the potential presence of both skarn and porphyry systems, increasing the strategic value of Nicola’s holdings.

The company’s other assets, including Treasure Mountain and Dominion Creek, are located in historically productive areas with high-grade mineralization and established access routes. Dominion Creek, in particular, sits atop the Isaac Lake Fault system—identified in British Columbia’s RGS (Regional Geochemical Survey) as a highly anomalous gold-silver corridor. Nicola’s integrated production model enables it to generate revenue while advancing these exploration programs without excessive dilution, providing a distinct advantage in a volatile commodities market.

Leadership Team

Peter Espig, Chief Executive Officer & Director, is a former diamond driller who spearheaded Nicola through a restructuring into its recent growth. He brings over $2 billion in private equity transaction experience, is a pioneer of SPACs, and has held senior positions at Goldman Sachs Japan and Olympus Capital.

Massimo Group (NASDAQ: MAMO)

The QualityStocks Daily Newsletter would like to spotlight Massimo Group (NASDAQ: MAMO).

Consulting company PwC has published an analysis that shows an increase in global electric vehicle sales, with China leading the latest surge in EV sales. Renewed demand for BEVs in Europe has also contributed to the rise in EV sales across the world. China is the largest electric vehicle market and has an incredibly competitive EV sector dominated by dozens of companies. Unlike carmakers from the West, Chinese automakers have figured out how to develop electric cars at low cost, allowing them to sell EVs at significantly more affordable prices compared to Western-made electric cars, and hastening the adoption of Chinese-made EVs in their home market. Europe, the second largest EV market in the world, doesn't manufacture electric cars that are as cheap but has provided robust policyinvestment, and infrastructure support to speed up the transition to electric vehicles. The U.S. remains the third largest electric vehicle market behind China and Europe but doesn't have an equally high rate of EV sales growth, registering just 592,000 new battery electric vehicles in the first half of the year, a 7% increase from the previous year. This widening gap suggests the global EV race is intensifying, with China pulling further ahead. Given the low enthusiasm for EVs in the U.S. and the changing federal policies on support towards electrification, enterprises like Massimo Group (NASDAQ: MAMO) now have to work harder to attract buyers of the electric vehicles they sell.

Massimo Group (NASDAQ: MAMO) is a prominent manufacturer and distributor specializing in powersports vehicles and recreational watercraft. Established in 2009, the company has built a reputation for delivering value-packed utility terrain vehicles (UTVs), all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and on-road vehicles to both recreational enthusiasts and professionals in the agricultural sector. Its current demonstration program in Kingston, Ontario, is being conducted under contract with the U.S. Department of Defense to prove commercial readiness for processing both heavy and light REEs. The project is also supported by Natural Resources Canada.

RapidSX™ employs a column-based design that eliminates the need for powered mixer-settlers, enabling a smaller facility footprint, quicker commissioning, and lower CAPEX and OPEX. The platform is adaptable to light and heavy REE feedstocks and is structured for modular scale-up.

The 52-stage RapidSX™ Commercial Demonstration Plant in Kingston, Ontario—operated in partnership with Kingston Process Metallurgy—has logged thousands of runtime hours and is currently processing rare earth feedstock further to the company’s U.S. Department of Defense contract. In January 2025, Ucore secured a $500,000 non-dilutive grant from Ontario’s Critical Minerals Innovation Fund to support the advancement of the Kingston facility and, in the words of Ontario Mines Minister George Pirie, “build a secure supply chain ready to fuel the technologies of tomorrow.”

Strategic Metals Complex – Louisiana

Ucore has selected an 80,800-square-foot brownfield site within the England Airpark in Alexandria, Louisiana, as the location for its first commercial rare earth refining facility. The Louisiana SMC is expected to scale from 2,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of total rare earth oxides initially to 5,000 TPA, with potential to ultimately reach 7,500 TPA.

The facility benefits from Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) status, reducing tariff burdens on imported inputs and enhancing logistics efficiency. In addition to these structural advantages, the state of Louisiana has outlined an incentive package valued at $15 million, including a $900,000 infrastructure grant and $360,000 in additional local support. The project is expected to create 100 family-wage jobs and has received strong support from federal and state officials.

To date, Ucore has secured $2.3 million in milestone payments under its $18.4 million OTA award from the U.S. Department of Defense. In early 2024, the company also secured C$2.16 million in private investment from Hondo Private Equity to support its commercialization efforts.

Bokan-Dotson Ridge REE Project – Alaska

Ucore maintains 100% ownership of the Bokan-Dotson Ridge heavy REE project in Southeast Alaska. A Preliminary Economic Assessment was completed in January 2013. The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA) has authorized $145 million in bond financing under SB99 (2014) to support future development.

While Bokan remains a long-term asset, Ucore continues to advance it at a measured pace, complementing its near-term focus on commercial rare earth refining and oxide production at the Louisiana SMC.

Market Opportunity

According to Grand View Research, the global rare earth elements market was estimated at $3.95 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.6% from 2025 to 2030. The market outlook remains strong, fueled by the growing demand for permanent magnets and catalysts in the automotive sector.

In March 2025, President Trump invoked the Defense Production Act to prioritize domestic critical mineral production, signaling a national mandate to reduce reliance on “hostile foreign powers’ mineral production.” One month later, the Chinese government enacted immediate export restrictions on seven key rare earth elements, including dysprosium and terbium, further intensifying pressure on Western nations to develop secure and independent supply chains. This underscores the strategic value of Ucore’s domestic separation infrastructure.

Leadership Team

Pat Ryan, P.Eng., Chairman and CEO, is the founder of Neocon International, a leading automotive OEM supplier. He brings over 25 years of experience in global supply chain innovation and has led Ucore since 2014 in its strategic pivot toward rare earth processing.

Peter Manuel, Vice President, CFO & Corporate Secretary, has served as Ucore’s financial lead for 14 years. Trained as a Chartered Accountant, with extensive experience across Canada, England, and Ireland, Mr. Manuel has advised public and private entities on strategic planning, treasury, and assurance.

Michael Schrider, MEng, P.E., Vice President & COO, is a multidisciplinary engineer with over 30 years of experience. He founded and operated engineering firms SAi and ABD and has overseen all phases of Ucore’s technical development since 2016.

Geoff Atkins, Vice President of Business Development, has 30 years of mining experience and was instrumental in advancing both Lynas’ Mt. Weld and Vital Metals’ Nechalacho REE operations. He brings deep operational knowledge and leads feedstock strategy at Ucore.

Investment Considerations
  • The company is closely aligned with national policy, receiving funding from both the U.S. Department of Defense ($18.4 million) and Natural Resources Canada (C$4.3 million).
  • Ucore’s RapidSX™ platform promises to deliver faster REE separation than traditional SX and is being commercialized at scale.
  • The Louisiana SMC aims to ramp to 7,500 TPA rare earth oxide production and benefits from FTZ status, DoD funding, and private equity backing.
  • Ucore’s 100%-owned Bokan-Dotson Ridge project remains a potentially valuable strategic heavy REE resource supported by a $145M AIDEA bond.
  • As China imposes REE export restrictions and the U.S. escalates domestic production policy, Ucore is positioned as a secure Western alternative.

Ucore Rare Metals Inc. (OTCQX: UURAF), closed Tuesday's trading session at $1.27, off by 3.7879%, on 504,081 volume. The average volume for the last 3 months is 912,350 and the stock's 52-week low/high is $0.33/$1.64.

SEGG Media Corp. (NASDAQ: SEGG; LTRYW) is a global sports, entertainment, and gaming company redefining how audiences connect with content through immersive technology and ethical engagement. Formerly known as Lottery.com Inc., the company recently completed a comprehensive corporate transformation, rebranding as SEGG Media (short for Sports Entertainment Gaming Global Media) to reflect its new strategic direction and structural overhaul.

With a mission to fuse real-time experiences, fan-first platforms, and responsible innovation, SEGG Media operates at the intersection of sports, entertainment, and gaming. Its business model is built around three synergistic verticals, each designed to scale globally while delivering meaningful value to fans, partners, and shareholders.

From sim racing and esports to live event streaming and charitable gaming, SEGG Media is building a next-generation platform that redefines how audiences interact with their favorite content and communities.

The company is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas.

Portfolio

SEGG Media’s operations are structured across three core verticals: Sports.com, Entertainment, and Lottery.com.

  • Sports.com is SEGG’s global hub for immersive sports media, covering sim racing, football, motorsports, and athlete-led content. The vertical includes Sports.com Studios, Sports.com Media, and Nook, each focused on original storytelling and fan-driven experiences. In June 2025, SEGG announced plans to acquire a 51% stake in the sports and technology assets of GXR World to launch the Sports.com Super App, a first-of-its-kind platform combining live streaming, e-commerce, community chat, real-money and fantasy gaming, and sports news. Built on GXR’s tech stack, which already draws over one million monthly active users, the Super App is expected to debut in Q3 2025 with an initial focus on soccer and motorsports.
  • The Entertainment pillar includes AI-driven event streaming, music and fashion media, and hybrid live experiences. As part of its acquisition-led growth model, SEGG is advancing a proposed deal to acquire DotCom Ventures Inc., owner of Concerts.com and TicketStub.com, to build out ticketing, event distribution, and direct-to-fan monetization infrastructure. This initiative aligns with SEGG’s five-year plan to unify content, commerce, and fan engagement under one platform, supported by a $100 million financing facility activated in May 2025.
  • Lottery.com, SEGG’s ethical gaming division, delivers domestic and international lottery access, iGaming, instant wins, sports betting, charitable gaming through properties such as WinTogether, and syndicated results data to more than 800 publishers through Tinbu. With compliance issues resolved and new operating structures in place, the platform is being relaunched globally through Lottery.com International.

Together, these three verticals enable SEGG Media to unify fragmented fan experiences into a fully integrated global ecosystem—where sports, gaming, content, and commerce converge.

Market Opportunity

The global sports betting industry is undergoing rapid expansion as digital adoption accelerates and new markets open to regulation. According to Grand View Research, the sports betting market was valued at $100.9 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $187.39 billion by 2030, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 11% from 2025 to 2030. This growth is fueled by increased internet penetration, widespread mobile usage, and rising interest in real-time, interactive fan experiences.

Beyond sports betting, SEGG Media also operates in the high-growth arenas of streaming, esports, and AI-powered content delivery. These adjacent markets are seeing double-digit global growth as fans demand more immersive, on-demand, and participatory forms of entertainment. With its diversified platform and strategic positioning across three converging verticals, SEGG Media is built to capitalize on multiple long-term secular trends and unlock scalable revenue opportunities.

Leadership Team

Matthew McGahan, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, joined the company in October 2022. Since then, he has played a central role in stabilizing operations, restructuring the organization, and guiding its rebrand to SEGG Media. McGahan brings a mix of entrepreneurial drive and philanthropic leadership, having founded the UK-based charity Mask Our Heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic and previously built and sold the Harley-Davidson dealership Magic Automotive Group.

Tim Scoffham, CEO of Sports.com Media and Lottery.com International, brings over 20 years of leadership experience across gaming, media, and digital sports entertainment. Appointed following a successful consultancy period, Scoffham now leads SEGG’s global growth strategy for its iGaming and sports media divisions. He is focused on expanding international operations, aligning media and technology platforms, and driving revenue across high-growth jurisdictions while strengthening regulatory partnerships.

Investment Considerations
  • SEGG Media has completed a comprehensive corporate transformation, including rebranding, structural realignment, and strategic repositioning.
  • The company operates across three synergistic verticals with scalable revenue potential: Sports.com, Entertainment, and Lottery.com.
  • A $100 million financing facility is in place to support its acquisition-driven five-year growth plan.
  • The upcoming launch of the Sports.com Super App is expected to redefine fan engagement across soccer, motorsports, and beyond.
  • SEGG is executing a global expansion strategy through acquisitions such as GXR World and DotCom Ventures.

Izotropic Corp. (CSE: IZO) (OTCQB: IZOZF) is a medical device company advancing dedicated imaging solutions to improve the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer. Focused exclusively on this clinical area, Izotropic is developing purpose-built technologies designed to address persistent limitations in conventional breast imaging. Through innovation in both device architecture and image acquisition, the company aims to enhance diagnostic confidence while improving patient experience.

Izotropic’s mission is to deliver transformative tools that empower radiologists, reduce missed cancers, and streamline clinical workflows. By introducing a next-generation imaging platform for breast cancer screening and diagnosis, the company is targeting a clear unmet need in a multibillion-dollar global market. Its vision centers on redefining how breast imaging is performed—shifting away from adaptations of whole-body scanners or 2D mammography toward a fully dedicated approach optimized for breast anatomy.

The company’s strategy is built around a singular platform with expansion potential. Izotropic is focused on commercializing its lead product through a staged pathway that includes regulatory authorization, clinical validation, and strategic investor engagement. In parallel, the company is developing educational tools and communications platforms to raise awareness among patients, clinicians, and stakeholders about the evolving role of dedicated breast imaging technologies in cancer care.

The company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, with operations in Sacramento, California.

Technology Portfolio

Izotropic’s flagship product is the IzoView Breast CT Imaging System, a dedicated breast imaging platform offering high-resolution, true 3D visualization without compression. The IzoView system was advanced from academic innovation to commercial readiness by Izotropic’s in-house team, building on exclusively licensed technology developed at the University of California, Davis to optimize diagnostic accuracy, patient comfort, and clinical workflow. IzoView integrates proprietary mechanical design, patented hardware innovations, and trade-secret software algorithms, along with AI-driven enhancements designed to improve radiologist performance.

Now in clinical-ready form and housed at Izotropic’s engineering facility in Sacramento, California, IzoView was built under an ISO 13485-compliant quality management system. It is scheduled for use in the company’s planned U.S. clinical trial for FDA market authorization. The device is also central to the company’s broader commercialization strategy, which includes platform extensions and future imaging-based product lines outlined in its recently completed 150-page business plan and financial model.

In preparation for launch, Izotropic is also rolling out strategic awareness platforms. These include a company-hosted podcast and the development of breastct.com, a new educational resource to support patients, clinicians, and stakeholders. These initiatives are designed to enhance engagement, reinforce brand positioning, and build early market traction for IzoView.

Market Opportunity

Izotropic is targeting the global breast imaging market, which is undergoing rapid innovation as healthcare providers seek more accurate, patient-friendly alternatives to traditional mammography. Current screening technologies have well-documented limitations in detecting tumors in women with dense breast tissue, a challenge IzoView directly addresses.

According to a report by MarketsandMarkets, the breast imaging market is projected to grow from $4.3 billion in 2023 to $6.6 billion by 2028, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.9%. Key drivers include the increasing prevalence of breast cancer, the shift toward early detection, and advances in imaging technology such as AI integration and contrast-enhanced diagnostics.

Izotropic’s licensing structure with UC Davis allows the company to pursue either FDA or CE Mark approval, offering flexibility for U.S. and international market entry. Izotropic’s go-to-market plan is supported by ongoing education efforts and a structured clinical strategy, both aligned to accelerate adoption and unlock value in a growing global market.

Leadership Team

Robert Thast, Interim CEO, is the founding executive of Izotropic and has over 30 years of experience leading public companies. He has raised over $100 million in capital, built cross-functional leadership teams, and guided early-stage ventures through public listings and strategic transitions. At Izotropic, he oversees corporate development, financing, and market strategy.

He is a pioneer in breast CT development, having built and tested four dedicated scanners and led trials with nearly 500 women. He has held top roles in AAPM and RSNA and currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of Medical Physics.

He has served as CEO, President, and CFO across multiple sectors and has raised significant capital for both public and private ventures. He is also the founder of C-Suite-Consulting.
