BioXyTran, Inc. concentrates on developing treatments for stroke and Ischemia. BXT-25 is founded on a new molecule designed to reverse hypoxia in the brain. Hypoxic brain injuries such as ischemic strokes, could be treated with BXT-25 by way of an intravenous injection that rapidly allows the drug molecule to travel to the lungs and bind with the oxygen molecules. From the lungs the molecule imitates a red blood cell traveling to the brain. Since the molecule is 5,000 times smaller than red blood cells, it can penetrate the clot and deliver the oxygen to the critical areas in the brain blocked by the clot.

Blue Moon Zinc Corp. engages in the exploration and development of mineral resource properties in the United States. Currently, the Company is advancing its 100 percent-controlled Blue Moon zinc deposit that also contains copper, gold and silver. The Company formerly went by the name Savant Explorations Ltd. Additionally, Blue Moon Zinc has its Yava Property in the Mackenzie Mining District, Territory of Nunavut, approximately 450 kilometers northeast of Yellowknife. Yava encompasses four known base and precious metal occurrences mid-way along the length of this greenstone belt. The Yava mining lease includes 9 km of northwest-trending strike-length along a volcanic-sedimentary rock interface.

Three of the mineral claims at the Yava Property are contiguous with the mining lease. They cover this strike-length for 2.5 km to the southeast. Five of the mineral claims cover, though not continuously, a 25 km northwest extension of this strike-length. The other eight mineral claims encompass volcanic rocks in the footwall of the volcanic-sedimentary rock interface.

Blue Moon Zinc announced this past January the discovery of high-grade zinc-copper-rich massive sulphides with precious metal values at its Blue Moon VMS deposit in Mariposa County, California. Given the significance of the results, the first drilling at Blue Moon in almost 30 years, a Phase 2 follow-up drill program was planned to commence soon in an attempt to expand the highest-grade zone ever encountered at the deposit.

This week, Blue Moon Zinc announced the signing of a strategic joint venture (JV) where Platina Resources, Inc. (PGM.AX) can earn a 70 percent interest in the Blue Moon polymetallic zinc-gold-copper-silver project. Selected highlights include Platina participating in a $300,000 private placement in the Company's common shares at $0.05 per share or a 100 percent premium to the last trading price on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Platina Resources can earn an initial 50 percent interest (Stage 1) in the Blue Moon property by spending $3.0 million within eighteen months. This will include a minimum of 10,000 meters of drilling and metallurgical test work. Platina is required to pay Blue Moon Zinc $250,000 in cash or Platina shares before completion of Stage 1, at Blue Moon’s sole option.

The Company’s proprietary technologies revolve around a structure-based drug discovery strategy teamed up with extensive nucleoside experience. Utilizing techniques called protein cocrystallization and X-ray crystallography,  Cocrystal Pharma quickly identifies novel binding sites, identifies critical inhibitor-protein interactions, and optimizes the structure of the inhibitor in a highly rapid iterative fashion. Therefore, inhibitors of this enzyme are likely to have multi- or pan-genotypic activity. 

In addition, the Company is developing compounds that inhibit hepatitis C helicase and NS5A, two enzymes important for viral replication. Cocrystal has also identified a picomolar inhibitor of NS5A; another crucial viral replication protein.

Recently, Cocrystal Pharma announced that it entered into an exclusive license and collaboration agreement with Merck to discover and develop certain proprietary influenza A/B antiviral agents. With this agreement, Merck will fund research and development (R&D) for the program, including clinical development. Merck will be responsible for global commercialization of any products derived from the collaboration. Cocrystal Pharma will be paid an undisclosed upfront sum. Cocrystal is eligible to receive payments related to designated development, regulatory and sales milestones with the potential to earn up to $156 million and undisclosed royalties on product sales.

Cocrystal Pharma recently announced safety and preliminary efficacy data for its U.S. Phase 2a study evaluating CC-31244 for the ultra-short treatment of HCV infected individuals. CC-31244 is an investigational, oral, potent, broad-spectrum replication inhibitor called a non-nucleoside inhibitor (NNI).

The treatment was well tolerated with no study discontinuations because of adverse events. Eight of 12 subjects achieved the primary efficacy endpoint of sustained virologic response at 12 weeks after completion of treatment (SVR12). SVR12 is defined as undetectable virus in blood 12 weeks after completion of treatment and considered a virologic cure.

Recently, Zenosense announced that its MIDS Medical Ltd. JV (MML) entered a staged funding for the next phase of development of MIDS Cardiac. On August 31, 2018, MML entered into an agreement with a third party investor for financing of up to a total amount of $1,200,000. The expectation is that this funding will cover the costs of the next important development phase of the MIDS Cardiac microfluidic test strip that aims to embody a high sensitivity (HS) troponin assay or an alike assay to prove the MIDS system on a live test.

With this Agreement, MML will receive an initial total amount of $300,000 in exchange for ordinary shares in MML, representing a 2.91 percent equity ownership, with the option to make scheduled payments up to an additional $900,000. The full $1,200,000 investment would equate to a final 10.31 percent equity ownership in MML.

Zenosense also recently announced that its MIDS Medical Ltd. JV, MML, expanded its technical team to support the next phase of development of MIDS Cardiac. Following its recent funding agreement, MML arranged the services of three important contractors for its next phase of MIDS development. The design of these contracting arrangements is to efficiently obtain services as and when required by MML.

DroneGuarder uses Swellpro as its drone supplier. DroneGuarder’s intention is to work jointly to embed its scanning AI image recognition technology into Swellpro’s SD5 drone platform. This will enable the DG Rescue to autonomously grid search for victims in a search area and alert the rescue crews through GPS location and streaming video where the victims are. DroneGuarder will be jointly developing DG Intruder with Swellpro using all the same technology, however it will be app based.

Recently, DroneGuarder announced the launch of its DG App on Google Play. The Company is enhancing the functionality for login and flight control including autonomously and controlled security sweeps. DroneGuarder secured new funding, which enables the Company to fund DG Rescue and DG Intruder product developments through to commercial release.

Agritek Holdings announced this past April that it completed, and fully executed, a five-year operational and exclusive licensing agreement with a 25,000-sq. ft. and one of the largest approved cultivation facilities in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Company will be the exclusive funding source, and supervise all infrastructure buildout, equipment lease/finance, security systems and personnel and provide access of experienced Colorado and California cultivation crews to ensure the facility meets all standard operating procedures as set forth by the Department of Health of Puerto Rico.

With the five-year operational contract and licensing agreement, Agritek will receive revenue in the form of property rent, licensing fees on all vaporizer and edible brands, equipment and lighting rental and financing fees along with equity interest in the property.

Agritek Holdings previously announced that it executed a land purchase agreement to purchase a "420 Style" resort and estate property about one hour outside of Quebec City, Quebec. This 15-acre estate comprises nine innovative guest suites and horse stables. It is within walking distance to a public golf course that the Company will have ownership in for guests staying at the resort. A separate structure will serve as a small grow facility run by patient employees and caretakers on the property that may be toured by guests of the facility.

Recently, Agritek Holdings announced that Phase One of construction is commencing this month at the 1919 Clinic's 25,000 square foot cultivation and manufacturing facility located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Agritek will provide funding for the build out of the operation, extraction and all equipment, and cultivation experts under the Agritek team via its executed five-year Operations and Licensing Agreement with 1919 Clinic.

Agritek Holdings also recently announced its initial orders from its' state licensed manufacturer for its brand "MicroDose" Oral Strips or "MD Strips" for the medicinal market of California. First orders and samples are being sent to dispensaries and local delivery services in San Diego and Orange County this month. Agritek will provide the licensing and packaging to produce the exclusive line of 10 mg and 50 mg oral strips as a medicinal alternative for patients.

The Canadian cannabis market currently has a massive supply demand gap, which makes TGOD’s expansion plans even more important to investors. TGOD also plans to gain a share of the burgeoning cannabis oils market which by Q1 2017 accounted for 49 percent of all cannabis sold in Canada under the ACMPR, up from only 27% in Q2 2016. TGOD has ordered a purpose-built extraction laboratory with an estimated commission in Q4 of 2017. This is a commercial-scale CO2 extraction unit capable of processing up to 12,000 kg of raw material per year and producing approximately $170 million worth of organic cannabis oils. Raw cannabis oil provides a significant downstream manufacturing opportunity into several potential recreational market verticals including edibles, beverages, topicals and concentrates.

Data from the Canadian ACMPR Market Trends report indicates a rising number of consumers will continue to seek out healthier, less conspicuous ways to consume cannabis, ensuring sales of organic cannabis oil products remain brisk. Organic cannabis products demand a significant premium compared to non-organic products and the demand keeps growing.

Plans to take the company public are underway with an initial public offering (IPO) slated for January 2018. In November, the company raised $13 million in equity financing and in March closed a $27 million non-brokered private placement. Another $20 million is currently being raised before the IPO in January, which will be utilized for expansion plans.

Willow anticipates its technology can be scaled to produce hundreds of kilograms per batch of cannabinoid API at less than $1,000 per kilogram, thus costing approximately 60% less than current chemical synthesis methods and 90% less than conventional plant-based extraction methods.

World-Class Collaboration

Willow and Noramco Inc., the world’s largest producer of high-quality synthetic cannabinoid APIs and other controlled substance APIs for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, have an exclusive, worldwide Joint Development Agreement (“JDA”) to design a yeast-based biosynthesis platform for the production and distribution of a highly pure CBD isolate.

The mutually exclusive agreement calls for Willow to be responsible for optimizing yeast strains in a biosynthetic process to generate ultrapure CBD at high yield and substantially lower cost compared to current methods. Noramco will leverage its decades of experience in producing and delivering CBD and pharmaceutical APIs by being responsible for the scale-up, regulatory submission, marketing and distribution of products manufactured under the JDA.

Each company will invest comparable funds, will retain the intellectual property associated with their respective scopes of work and share equally in gross profits from sales of products manufactured under the JDA.

Market Opportunity

The agreement with Noramco (http://nnw.fm/Mz1vW) addresses the increasing demand for CBD-based APIs and other CBD-infused products by pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, consumer packaged goods, beverages and other industry sectors.

The U.S. market potential of cannabinoids is significant, with industry analysts projecting $50 billion in cannabinoid-based pharmaceutical sales and $16 billion in CBD consumer goods retail sales by 2025. As of June 2019, 34 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands have legalized cannabis for medical use.
