The Grasset Nickel Deposit features some of the highest tenor (nickel content) sulphides in Canada. This allows it to produce very high nickel grades. Balmoral Resources earlier announced additional discoveries within the Grasset Ultramafic Complex 7 km to the NW. At the Grasset Nickel Deposit, nickel, copper, cobalt, platinum and palladium are all considered recoverable and payable.

In January, Balmoral Resources announced it was named to, and ranked 12th on the 2020 OTCQX® Best 50. This is a ranking of top performing companies that traded on the OTCQX Best Market in 2019. Last week, Balmoral Resources announced that its 2020 winter drill program targeting a number of known gold-bearing zones on its wholly-owned Fenelon Property in Quebec is underway. Drilling is expected to continue through to spring break-up in April with a minimum of 5,000 meters planned during the present phase of the program.

The Company’s current 2020 exploration plan calls for a minimum of 20,000 meters of drilling, centered almost exclusively on gold targets on the Detour Gold Trend Project, which will be completed in two phases. The winter 2020 drill program will mainly target further extensions of the Area 51 gold system in several areas on Balmoral’s wholly-owned Fenelon Property.

HHH holds licenses for cultivation, product manufacturing, and retail operations in Massachusetts. HHH can obtain up to two more retail licenses in the State. At present, HHH operates a cultivation and manufacturing facility in Fall River, Massachusetts, next to its Fall River Dispensary.

This past November, Mr. George Sanders, President of Goldcliff Resource, reported geologic consultants specializing in old mine workings accessed, mapped, and sampled the lower levels of the Nevada Rand shaft and the upper levels of the Number 2 shaft at the Lone Star mine. Additional sampling on the 250-foot level of the Nevada Rand shaft demonstrates the continuity of strong grade silver and gold mineralization. Sampling around old ore chutes in the southeast extension of the mine returned 491g/t silver with 5.6 g/t gold (one meter rock chip sample) and 208 g/t silver with 5.29 g/t gold (grab sample from ore chute).

On January 23, 2020, Mr. George Sanders reported that drilling is underway at the Nevada Rand silver/gold project in Mineral County, Nevada. Between six and eight core holes will be drilled as part of a roughly 1000 meter maiden drill programme. Drilling was anticipated to take 30 days. Assay laboratory turn around is between six and eight weeks.

Seedo's hermetically sealed systems are controlled and managed by artificial intelligence (AI) software. This software analyzes the plant's development and takes actions to optimize growing parameters based on its performance. Recently, Seedo announced it will be partnering with Kibbutz Dan in Northern Israel to create the first fully automated, commercial-scale, pesticide-free containerized cannabis farm in Israel. Within 36 months of operation, the estimation is that the project will produce a minimum of 14 tons of dry cannabis bud, producing an estimated revenue of $24 million dollars.

Earlier in April, Seedo announced it will create a second fully automated, commercial-scale, pesticide-free containerized cannabis farm in Israel. Brosh Containers farm will be constructed enabling automated, closed system cultivation to be installed. The anticipation is that the farm's production capacity will reach 12 tons of dry cannabis inflorescence annually, as of the third year, in Moshav Brosh.

Seedo also recently announced it will manufacture greater than 1,800 home cultivator units in Q2. Additionally, it announced the filing for a new patent to cover the artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytic algorithms of Eroll Grow Tech's (Seedo) innovative growing agriculture database. The patent encompasses technology that increases yield, improves the plant feeding process, provides real-time recovery algorithms, and detects issues.

Recently, Protalex announced that following a planned interim analysis of data from the fourth dose cohort of its European Phase 1b study of PRTX-100 (PRTX-100-203 Study) in adults with persistent/chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), it initiated enrollment in the fifth and highest dose cohort of this dose-escalating study.

The first patient in the final cohort was recently dosed in the United Kingdom at 24 micrograms/kg. This the highest dose of PRTX-100 used in any clinical trial to date. One of the three patients treated in the fourth dose cohort (18 micrograms/kg) attained a protocol defined platelet response.

In October of 2017, Tiger Reef issued its first statement and shareholder update since the Company’s St. Maarten headquarters experienced a direct hit from Hurricane Irma during the early morning hours on September 6, 2017. Tiger Reef’s office headquarters suffered catastrophic damage during the Hurricane Irma storm.

All of the Company’s office equipment, computers, paper files, and more were damaged beyond repair during the storm. However, electronic files were backed up offsite and were recovered. Tiger Reef was renovating a leased waterfront restaurant space in the Simpson Bay Resort & Marina in preparation of opening the first Mermaid Reef Ocean Grill & Lounge™ in time for the 2017 tourist season. In addition, Simpson Bay Resort & Marina and the Company’s restaurant location suffered massive damage and flooding.

Tiger Reef and Simpson Bay Resorts & Marina Management had numerous discussions since the storm concerning the future of the resort and restaurant. Based on the fact that the resort would be closed for a minimum of six months, but probably longer, and other uncertainties, Tiger Reef and Simpson Bay Resorts & Marina mutually agreed to terminate the lease agreement for the restaurant space. Tiger Reef will make a one-time write-off or its lost investment in this restaurant property.

Tiger Reef temporarily suspended all efforts related to the Mermaid Reef Ocean Grill & Lounge™ brand. The Company said this past October that it would re-evaluate its options for the brand in the coming months after it recovers from the losses incurred due to Hurricane Irma.

The mutually exclusive agreement calls for Willow to be responsible for optimizing yeast strains in a biosynthetic process to generate ultrapure CBD at high yield and substantially lower cost compared to current methods. Noramco will leverage its decades of experience in producing and delivering CBD and pharmaceutical APIs by being responsible for the scale-up, regulatory submission, marketing and distribution of products manufactured under the JDA.

Each company will invest comparable funds, will retain the intellectual property associated with their respective scopes of work and share equally in gross profits from sales of products manufactured under the JDA.

Market Opportunity

The agreement with Noramco (http://nnw.fm/Mz1vW) addresses the increasing demand for CBD-based APIs and other CBD-infused products by pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, consumer packaged goods, beverages and other industry sectors.

The U.S. market potential of cannabinoids is significant, with industry analysts projecting $50 billion in cannabinoid-based pharmaceutical sales and $16 billion in CBD consumer goods retail sales by 2025. As of June 2019, 34 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands have legalized cannabis for medical use. As a tolling fee payment, HTC will receive a percentage of the extracted CBD FSO distillate for its processing, extraction, purification and distillation services.

Additional hemp biomass tolling contracts with producers and hemp biomass providers are being negotiated in the U.S. for the 2020 hemp crop growing year. HTC will provide “local-to-grower” drying-to-biomass storage capability and transportation of dried biomass to an HTC, location to be determined, future US based, extraction facility. HTC is also in negotiation with a 60,000-acre, recognized Canadian farm leader, who is a significant hemp biomass producer, for a similar hemp biomass tolling contract.

Large users of ethanol and solvents for plant oil extraction demand reduced capital and operating costs. HTC’s re3™ (reclaim, recycle, reuse) technology can save up to 30% of the required fluid costs. The increasing cost of new extraction ethanol, combined with the cost of used ethanol disposal, creates a unique opportunity whereby the re3™ technology will create cost savings, while meeting environmental responsibilities.

Indonesia’s commitment extends to the very top of government, with Joko Widodo – Indonesia’s President – stating in September 2019 that “for nickel, we want raw materials to be processed in Indonesia. We want added values”. This supports previous pronouncements from key officials, including Indonesian Maritime Minister, Luhut Pandjaitan who remarked that Indonesia will “become the main player in lithium batteries” and that it will “control the world market”.

The country, which is the world’s top nickel ore exporter, has stopped export of unprocessed nickel ore to support this plan.

During 2019 the Company carried out an extensive exploration and development program on Cyclops and achieved successful nickel results with its drilling and bench-scale scoping tests for processing of materials.

Drilling identified significant horizons of nickel mineralization and bench-scale scoping tests returned positive results for processing of this nickel rich material.

2020 will see continued and consistent development in Pacific Rim Cobalt’s strategy as the company continues to set ambitious milestones with the goal of becoming a leading international player in the EV battery metal sector and creating significant long-term shareholder value.

Clinical Trials

Genprex is currently conducting the second phase of a phase I/II clinical trial at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. The company plans to expand its clinical program by adding a new clinical study evaluating Oncoprex™ in combination with a checkpoint inhibitor for treatment of Stage IV or recurrent NSCLC. In research presented at the 2017 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Cancer Research in Washington, D.C., Genprex’s collaborators showed that TUSC2 in combination with PD-1 checkpoint inhibition has a significantly greater anti-tumor effect in lung cancer than either agent alone. The research also shows that TUSC2 in combination with PD-1 blockade has synergistic activity in upregulating natural killer (NK) cells, correlating with prolonged survival in mice.

TUSC2 (Tumor Suppressor Candidate 2) is a tumor suppressor gene that is absent or deficient in cancer cells of many different cancer types.

The Market

Genprex technologies seek to bridge a critical gap by combining with targeted therapies and immunotherapies to provide treatments to large patient populations who would otherwise not be candidates for those therapies or who have become resistant to them. Genprex technologies are being developed to overcome genomic limitations which are inherent in targeted therapies and immunotherapies in order to provide new treatment solutions to large cancer populations, such as those with lung cancer.

LANXESS’ land operations in Southern Arkansas encompass more than 150,000 acres, 10,000 brine leases and surface agreements and 250 miles of pipelines. LANXESS extracts the brine from its wells located throughout the area, and the brine is transported to the three Arkansas plants through a network of pipelines. The three bromine extraction plants currently employ approximately 500 people and process and reinject several hundred thousand barrels of brine per day.

Standard Lithium has developed a breakthrough rapid lithium extraction process that reduces the recovery time of extracting lithium from brine to as little as several hours vs. the current industry method that takes years. The process is also much more environmentally friendly with a significantly smaller footprint than the conventional processes. The company has a signed agreement to locate a demonstration scale lithium extraction plant inside one of LANXESS’ chemical plants in Southern Arkansas.

The Company has also signed an option agreement with NYSE-listed Tetra Technologies for the lithium rights for exploration, extraction, and possible commercial development on approximately 30,000 acres of brine leases in Southern Arkansas. The largest available land package.

Recent laboratory results of four brine samples recovered from two existing wells in Standard Lithium’s project area showed lithium concentrations ranging between 347-461 mg/L lithium, with an average of 450 mg/L lithium in one of the wells and 350 mg/L in the other. Geological modeling of the project area is complete, and a maiden resource report is on the horizon.
