ALX Resources Corp. explores a portfolio of prospective mineral properties that include nickel copper-cobalt, gold and uranium. Recently, the Company acquired the Falcon Nickel and Flying Vee Nickel projects in northern Saskatchewan; the Vixen Gold Project in the historic Red Lake Mining District of Ontario; and the Draco VMS Project in Norway. Incorporated in 2007, ALX Resources has its corporate headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Company previously went by the name ALX Uranium Corp. The Falcon Nickel Project consists of 67 claims owned 100 percent by ALX totaling 20,002 hectares (49,427 acres). These are prospective for nickel, copper and cobalt (Ni-Cu-Co) mineralization, situated in the northern Athabasca region of Saskatchewan. Falcon hosts a magmatic nickel-sulphide mineralizing system that has been underexplored by contemporary methods until its acquisition by ALX Resources. The Flying Vee project comprises 13 claims totaling 27,055.98 hectares. ALX Resources owns a 100 percent interest in the property. Flying Vee is prospective for nickel, copper and cobalt mineralization and encompasses the historical Reeve Lake nickel showing and drill hole intersection. In 2018, the Company initiated staking in the Flying Vee region through acquiring five claims and added eight new claims in April 2019 after a staking rush was triggered in the region by an emerging battery metals company (Kobold Metals).

This past October, ALX Resources announced the acquisition of mineral claims prospective for copper-zinc-gold-silver mineralization at its 100 percent-owned Draco VMS Project in the Grong district of central Norway. In May of 2019, ALX staked 10 claims totaling roughly 5,959 hectares following its study of surface mineral showings integrated with historical airborne survey data that identified trends that could represent zones of volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) style mineralization.

The Tango property comprises eight claims owned 100 percent by ALX Resources totaling 13,709 hectares. The Tango property lies in the Mudjatik Domain in a region that is prospective for nickel, copper and cobalt mineralization. Based on prior exploration, the Tango property has the potential to host polymetallic mineral deposits.

On September 26, 2019, ALX Resources announced the acquisition of claims prospective for gold mineralization in the Red Lake Mining District of Ontario. The Vixen Gold Project comprises three sub-projects totaling 10,008 hectares (27,730 acres) staked within the Birch-Uchi greenstone belt, positioned about 60 kilometres (37 miles) east of Red Lake, Ontario. Vixen is owned 100 percent by ALX, subject to a 2.0 percent Net Smelter Returns royalty (NSR).

ALX Resources also has a number of Uranium projects. These are Close Lake, Hook-Carter, Black Lake, Newnham Lake, Kelic Lake, Gibbons Creek, Lazy Edward Bay, Carpenter Lake, Perch, the Cluff Lake Properties (Bridle & Middle Lakes), and South Pine. New Uranium projects include the Argo, Vulcan, Sabre, and Luna projects.

This month, ALX Resources announced that drilling started at its 100 percent-owned Falcon Nickel Project. A helicopter-supported diamond drilling program of up to 1,000 meters in 4 to 5 holes is taking place. The Company's first drill hole of the 2020 program is in progress on the V-1 conductive target (V-1) at the historical Currie Lake deposit area.

The San Matias Project is an early stage exploration project. Cordoba Minerals is exploring a newly identified high grade copper-gold district. This district is characterized by porphyry type and “carbonate replacement” (CRD) type and/or “iron oxide copper-gold” (IOCG) type deposits formed in an accreted island arc setting.

Rockcliff Metals controls a 7-year processing lease of the Bucko Mill and tailing storage facilities at the Bucko Lake Mine from CANickel Mining Limited close to Wabowden, central Manitoba. The mill, initially designed for nickel, would be re-developed into a copper processing mill by Rockcliff in the short term.

In Q2 of this year, the Company will complete metallurgical optimization studies to establish required design change to convert the mill into a copper processor. By Q3 of this year, Rockcliff aims to complete establishing cost of conversion to copper processor and make a production decision.

Last week, Rockcliff Metals provided an updated Mineral Resource Estimate on its 100 percent owned Tower Property in central Manitoba. Highlights of the Tower Mineral Resource Update versus prior resource and expansion potential include the Indicated grade increasing by 28 percent; the Indicated contained metal content increased by 21 percent.

The Company is now drilling 750 meters of strike length from the Tower Deposit to the highly prospective Tower South Anomaly, not included in this Mineral Resource update. The Tower Deposit remains open along strike and at depth.

Willow and Noramco Inc., the world’s largest producer of high-quality synthetic cannabinoid APIs and other controlled substance APIs for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, have an exclusive, worldwide Joint Development Agreement (“JDA”) to design a yeast-based biosynthesis platform for the production and distribution of a highly pure CBD isolate.

The mutually exclusive agreement calls for Willow to be responsible for optimizing yeast strains in a biosynthetic process to generate ultrapure CBD at high yield and substantially lower cost compared to current methods. Market Opportunity

Hemp Biomass and Tolling Contracts

HTC has entered into a hemp biomass tolling agreement for the 2019 crop year involving a supply of hemp biomass from a hemp grower in Saskatchewan, Canada. The hemp grower utilizes five varieties of Health Canada-approved cultivars as the genetic foundation. HTC will process and extract CBD FSO distillate from the hemp biomass. As a tolling fee payment, HTC will receive a percentage of the extracted CBD FSO distillate for its processing, extraction, purification and distillation services.

Additional hemp biomass tolling contracts with producers and hemp biomass providers are being negotiated in the U.S. for the 2020 hemp crop growing year. HTC will provide “local-to-grower” drying-to-biomass storage capability and transportation of dried biomass to an HTC, location to be determined, future US based, extraction facility. HTC is also in negotiation with a 60,000-acre, recognized Canadian farm leader, who is a significant hemp biomass producer, for a similar hemp biomass tolling contract.

re3™ Technology

Large users of ethanol and solvents for plant oil extraction demand reduced capital and operating costs. HTC’s re3™ (reclaim, recycle, reuse) technology can save up to 30% of the required fluid costs. The increasing cost of new extraction ethanol, combined with the cost of used ethanol disposal, creates a unique opportunity whereby the re3™ technology will create cost savings, while meeting environmental responsibilities.

The strain of industrial hemp being grown by Hempistry is ultra-rich in CBD but contains less than 0.3 percent of THC, the psychoactive ingredient found in cannabis. The U.S. hemp industry is expected to produce well over $1 billion in revenues in 2018, with a compound annual growth rate of 14 percent through 2022, according to the Hemp Business Journal.

Demand for industrial hemp and products derived from hemp is soaring, with no let-up in sight, which the company sees as a “tremendous opportunity to become a supplier to this fast-growing sector,” said Chairman and CEO Jimmy Chan, who is also an advisor and minority shareholder of Hempistry.

Sugarmade’s investment into the market for high-CBD hemp is expected to be highly accretive for common shareholders in two ways. First, Sugarmade’s investment will be in the form of common shares in Hempistry allowing Sugarmade common shareholders to possibly benefit from any future initial public offering of Hempistry. Second, Sugarmade is expected to sign a supply agreement with Hempistry for cultivation supplies, which would be additive to corporate revenues.

SHRG’s consolidated operating earnings were $3.9 million in the fiscal quarter ended Oct. 31, 2019, compared to $866,802 for the comparable period the prior year. Consolidated gross margin also grew 70.9% for the three months ended Oct. 31, 2019, compared to 62.2% the prior year.

These numbers are continuing a trend established over the past two years. In fiscal Q1 2019, SHRG achieved revenues of $35.4 million, more than double that of the comparable period in 2018. Even earlier, the company reported sales of $85.9 million for fiscal year ended April 30, 2019. This represents a nine-fold increase, or $77.5 million jump, over the company’s revenues of $8.4 million the prior year.

These numbers bring SHRG’s sales revenues since December 2017 — when the company’s Elevate product line was released — to an impressive cumulative total of $169 million.

Preparing for Success

SHRG is well prepared to continue and accommodate for this growth. The company recently expanded its corporate footprint by moving to a 10,000-square-foot facility in Plano, Texas, that offers ample room to expand as the company grows and flourish. The larger corporate locale provides space for a growing customer service department, product fulfillment, opportunity and training rooms, as well as a video production suite.
